Time is running out for comments during the state government’s review of the recent flooding in southeast Queensland.
Residents were invited to comment as part of the Inspector General for Emergency Management’s review of the rain and flood event in southeast Queensland, which took place between February 22 and March 7.
Inspector General for Emergency Management Alistair Dawson said public filings would close at 4pm on Friday April 22.
“It is an important opportunity for the community to share their experiences of this event and how it affected them,” said Mr. Dawson.
“Submissions provide an opportunity for the community to let us know what they think worked well in preparing for and responding to the event, and to provide suggestions for improvement. We’re excited to hear what the community has to say and I encourage people to contribute.
“We welcome video files, photographs, historical records and other documents in support of the submission.”
